About the role#
Beloit Health System is hiring a Student Radiologic Technologist to join the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Beloit Memorial Hospital. This position supports Radiologic Technologists and nursing staff by providing essential patient care during procedures. You will work on-site in a per diem capacity with a varied 1st shift schedule.
What you'll do#
- Greet patients and assist with transport.
- Prepare charts by printing ID stickers, pulling old records, and organizing billing slips.
- Help with pre-procedure room setup and patient preparation.
- Assist the team during procedures and provide post-procedure care.
- Practice aseptic techniques and select contrast based on patient lab work.
- Stock procedure rooms with supplies, linens, and contrast.
- Clean labs and rooms after use.
- Answer phones and take messages.
- Initiate basic life support if the situation requires it.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Radiology program.
- Ability to obtain CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills, with experience using an EMR system being helpful.
- A commitment to following hospital and department policies.
- Ability to maintain ethical conduct and protect patient confidentiality.

- This is a paid, on-site, part-time position.
