About the role#
Bennett Thrasher is seeking Tax interns for a Winter 2028 internship in Denver. This role provides experience similar to that of a first-year staff member. You will work across several areas of tax, including return preparation, planning assignments, and research projects.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns accurately and efficiently.
- Calculate income tax projections and estimates for clients.
- Analyze financial statements and accounting records to ensure they meet reporting standards.
- Research and summarize financial information.
- Demonstrate knowledge of accounting and auditing theory.
- Work with firm leadership to provide service to clients.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Accounting program with a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A commitment to professional and client service excellence.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
