About the role#
Bennett Thrasher is hiring a Tax Intern for the Spring 2028 term in Denver. This role provides experience similar to that of a first-year staff member. You will work across several areas of tax and receive mentorship through our internal program.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns accurately and efficiently.
- Calculate income tax projections and estimates.
- Research, analyze, and summarize financial information for clients.
- Review financial statements and accounting records to ensure they meet reporting standards.
- Apply knowledge of accounting and auditing theory to daily tasks.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to provide service to clients.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting.
- Your GPA is 3.2 or higher.
- You have a basic understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
- You communicate clearly in both writing and speech.
- You are committed to professional service.
- You can work 40 hours per week.
