About the role#
Bennett Thrasher is hiring a Tax Intern for the Spring 2027 term in Denver. This internship provides experience similar to a first-year staff role. You will work across various tax areas and receive mentorship through our internal buddy program.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns and income tax projections for clients.
- Research and analyze financial information to support client needs.
- Review financial statements and accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Maintain and organize client files according to firm procedures.
- Apply knowledge of accounting and auditing theory to daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Accounting program.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Foundational knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A commitment to professional excellence.

- Location: Denver, Colorado.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
