About the role#
Bennett Thrasher is hiring a Tax Intern for the Spring 2028 term in Atlanta. This role provides experience similar to that of a first-year staff accountant. You will work across different areas of tax while receiving mentorship through our internal buddy program.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns accurately and efficiently.
- Calculate income tax projections and estimates for clients.
- Research, analyze, and summarize financial information.
- Review accounting records and financial statements to ensure they meet reporting standards.
- Apply knowledge of accounting and auditing theory to client projects.
- Maintain client files according to firm standards.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to deliver service to clients.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Accounting program.
- A GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A commitment to professional and client service.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week.
