About the role#
As the Campaign Development Director for the Ohio River Valley, you will lead multiple staff teams to drive fundraising for our Visionaries and Student Visionaries of the Year campaigns. This role focuses on building relationships with constituents and implementing peer-to-peer fundraising strategies to meet revenue goals. You will work within a mission-centered organization to help advance our goal of enabling patients with blood cancer to gain more than one million years of life by 2040.
What you'll do#
- Lead, hire, and train peer-to-peer fundraising staff teams.
- Develop and implement an annual strategic plan to exceed revenue targets.
- Recruit and cultivate high-level volunteer committees.
- Organize local donor cultivation events that center on our mission.
- Partner with internal departments to communicate our programs and research priorities.
- Retain and upgrade sponsorships for all campaign products.
- Teach and consult with volunteer leaders in the market area.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7-8 years of relevant work experience.
- A proven track record of success in fundraising or related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
- Comfort with managing operational details.

- Location: Louisville, Kentucky.
- Modality: Hybrid.

- Travel: Up to 30% local travel required.
- Schedule: Some evenings and weekends are required.
