About the role#
This internship supports the Client Onboarding team within the Client Enablement group at BMO Capital Markets. You will work on projects that improve operational efficiency, manage client documentation, and support data-driven decision-making. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain automation solutions using tools like Power Automate to reduce manual work.
- Create and update client documentation using Adobe InDesign.
- Design and produce metrics reports and dashboards for the team.
- Perform data quality assurance checks in source systems.
- Coordinate tasks with offshore teams.
- Assist with data preparation and reconciliation for ongoing projects.
- Manage the online portal for electronic delivery of client statements and confirmations.
- Review daily account openings for quality control.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or non-MBA masters program with a graduation date of December 2027, 2028, or 2029.
- Academic background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Finance, Data Science, or Business Administration.
- Strong academic standing and demonstrated interest in the finance sector.
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Adobe InDesign for document creation.
- Practical knowledge of data management, data analysis, and process automation.
- Familiarity with AI tools, Python, SQL, or VBA is an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
