About the role#
This internship supports the Client Onboarding team within the BMO Capital Markets Client Enablement group. You will contribute to process efficiency and data management while gaining experience in a professional financial services environment.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using tools like Power Automate and other low-code platforms to reduce manual effort.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of client documentation using Adobe InDesign.
- Design and produce regular and ad-hoc metrics reports and dashboards.
- Manage the online portal for the electronic delivery of client statements and confirmations.
- Coordinate the work of offshore teams.
- Leverage AI tools to drive process efficiency.
- Perform quality control reviews for new accounts and conduct data quality assurance checks.
- Review and manage physical return mail.
- Support management with data analysis and provide relevant insights.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or non-MBA master's program with a graduation date in December 2027, 2028, or 2029.
- Academic focus in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Finance, Data Science, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience or demonstrated interest in AI, data analytics, or coding languages such as Python, SQL, and VBA.
- Practical experience with process automation tools like Power Automate.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and a track record of academic and extracurricular success.
