About the role#
This is a 4-month co-op or internship position for Winter 2027. You will provide general office support and clerical tasks to help business groups reach their objectives. You will gain hands-on experience by working with internal and external stakeholders while following established policies and controls.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support business goals and resolve routine operational problems.
- Coordinate and schedule work, monitor quality, and assist with change management execution.
- Manage office documentation, including compiling, filing, and database entry.
- Track and process budget invoices and prepare funding approval requests.
- Maintain office supply inventory and coordinate equipment maintenance work orders.
- Schedule meetings, book travel arrangements, and handle central phone inquiries.
- Write, edit, and distribute communication materials and update departmental procedures.
- Verify staff timesheets and track attendance data.
- Coordinate premises changes with business units and vendors.
- Apply the Risk Management Framework to ensure all tasks align with bank policies and regulations.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an academic program with a focus on Business Administration and returning to studies after the term.
- Typically 2 to 3 years of relevant experience or certification.
- Strong knowledge of business unit products, services, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with transactional documentation, workflow priorities, and deadlines.
- Proficiency with standard office equipment such as printers and photocopiers.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
