About the role#
Bond Vet offers a Veterinary Technician Externship for students looking to gain clinical experience in a supportive environment. You will work alongside veterinarians and credentialed technicians to provide both routine and urgent care. The program provides mentorship and exposure to a variety of cases to help you develop your medical knowledge and clinical skills.
What you'll do#
- Focus on patient care with support from veterinary assistants.
- Work side by side with veterinarians to provide quality medical care.
- Participate in surgery and dental procedures.
- Educate pet parents about the health needs of their pets.
- Attend internal educational events hosted by the Medical Operations Team.
- Use new medical equipment and clinic tools.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an AVMA accredited veterinary technician or veterinary nursing program.
- A requirement to complete externship hours or skills for your current coursework.
- An interest in developing your veterinary skills.
