About the role#
We are hiring an Electrical Engineering Co-op for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in New Bremen, Ohio. You will support our engineering teams in developing electrical systems for our material handling equipment.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development of electrical systems, including electronics, wiring harnesses, software interfaces, and component selection.
- Research electrical needs for our products and review regulatory requirements, design guidelines, and technical risks.
- Set electrical system requirements regarding performance, cost, and physical fit.
- Design solutions that meet safety, operational, and manufacturing standards.
- Perform design analysis focused on reliability, performance, and failure modes.
- Create and maintain schematics, block diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
- Develop and run verification tests for electrical systems.
- Collaborate with the Quality, Manufacturing, and Service departments to build test protocols.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others.
- A reliable way to get to work.
