About the role#
We are looking for an Environmental Health and Safety Co-Op for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in New Bremen, Ohio.
What you'll do#
- Enter safety data, including training records, inspections, and general record-keeping.
- Conduct monthly environmental and safety audits.
- Help the Director and EHS manager build safety training modules and waste management plans.
- Assist with environment and safety training sessions.
- Support the development and implementation of ISO 14001 across all plant locations.
- Collect and complete data for regulatory reports, such as Air Emission, Hazardous Chemical Inventory, and Toxic Release Inventory filings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Environmental Engineering, Earth and Environmental Science, or Safety and Occupational Health Management.
- Reliable transportation to get to the work site.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
