    About the role#

    This is a 16-week paid internship focused on the grain and oilseed supply chain. You will work within the Ag & Trading enterprise to connect producers with users through origination, trading, and distribution. This role is designed to provide real-world experience in a hybrid environment, allowing you to apply classroom knowledge to actual business challenges.

    What you'll do#

    • Build and maintain relationships with producers, country elevators, feed mills, and end users.
    • Analyze supply and demand data to monitor market conditions.
    • Negotiate and finalize terms for commodity purchase and sale contracts, including price, quality, and logistics.
    • Manage the transportation and logistics required to execute contracts.
    • Complete and present a project focused on market improvement, customer interaction, or internal work processes.
    • Collaborate with teams across sales, quality assurance, accounting, and plant operations.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2029.
    • A major or interest in Business Administration, Economics, or Agriculture.
    • Completion of, current enrollment in, or plans to complete an introductory college-level Economics course.
    • Ability to commit to a 16-week internship from May to August 2027.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
    • Legal entitlement to work in Canada.

    • Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba.
    • Work Modality: Hybrid, with time spent in an office or plant setting.
    • Status: Full-time, paid internship.
