About the role#
This paid internship offers a 10 to 12 week introduction to the electrical distribution industry. You will learn the business through mentoring and on-the-job training. This program is for individuals interested in sales or management careers. You will work in various environments including warehouses and offices.
What you'll do#
- Learn all aspects of the electrical distribution field.
- Participate in warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving.
- Engage in counter sales and build customer relations.
- Complete special projects like market sales or customer analysis.
- Communicate effectively in English.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- A current, valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to solve problems and handle multiple tasks as a self-starter.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site role.
- Opportunities are available in Kansas City, MO, as well as various locations across Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska.
- The program runs on a rolling basis.
