About the role#
CED offers a paid, structured 10 to 12 week internship for students interested in sales or management. The program provides a working knowledge of electrical distribution through mentoring and on-the-job training. You will gain exposure to all aspects of the business while working on projects designed by the management team. This is a full-time, on-site role with rolling start dates.
What you'll do#
- Learn the fundamentals of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving.
- Handle counter sales and build customer relations.
- Complete special projects like market sales research or customer analysis.
- Develop interpersonal and sales skills while learning the company business philosophy.
- Rotate through various environments, including warehouse and office settings.
What you'll need#
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You hold a current, valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
- You have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- You are a self-starter who can manage multiple tasks and a high volume of work.
- Relevant coursework in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management is preferred.

This position is on-site. We are recruiting for locations across Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska, including Kansas City, Missouri.
