About the role#
CED offers a paid, 10 to 12 week internship for students interested in sales or management. This program provides a working knowledge of the electrical distribution industry through mentoring and on-the-job training. You will learn the business from the ground up while working on projects tailored to your interests and the needs of the management team.
What you'll do#
- Learn every aspect of the CED business.
- Handle warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving.
- Manage counter sales and build customer relations.
- Complete special projects, such as market sales or customer analysis.
What you'll need#
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You hold a current, valid driver license with a clean record.
- You have strong negotiation skills.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office software.
- You have a knack for solving problems.
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.

- This position is located in Kansas City, Missouri.
- Work is on-site.

- You must have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
