About the role#
Cerity Partners is hiring a Wealth Management Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, full-time internship based in Louisville, Kentucky. You will work in a hybrid capacity to gain exposure to the financial industry at a registered investment advisory firm.
What you'll do#
- Shadow and participate in client presentations.
- Assist Financial Advisors with the preparation of financial documents and performance reports.
- Use CRM and financial planning software systems.
- Perform research on stocks, bonds, and other securities using investment software.
- Use back-end portfolio management software for account maintenance.
- Participate in Investment Committee and portfolio subcommittee meetings.
- Conduct independent financial research and build spreadsheets for financial planning projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited university.
- A minimum 3.2 GPA.
- A major in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related business field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Active participation in campus organizations or prior professional work experience.
