About the role#
We are looking for security research interns to join our team. You will work on a variety of topics including malware analysis, vulnerability detection, network anomaly detection, mobile app analysis, reverse engineering, and fraud detection. Multiple research tasks are available for you to explore.
What you'll do#
- Develop tools for security discovery and design mitigation techniques to stop threats.
- Review the implementation of sandboxes, VMs, network modules, and distributed systems.
- Find vulnerabilities and build proof-of-concept exploits for large distributed systems.
- Publish your research findings in academic and industry venues.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Masters or PhD in Computer Science or a Cybersecurity related field.
- Experience with vulnerability discovery and exploitation on web applications or system software.
- Familiarity with WASM, Rust, or Go development is a plus.
- Participation in CTF competitions is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- We accept applications on a rolling basis.
- This role can be performed on-site in New York, NY, Seattle, WA, or the San Francisco Bay Area, CA, or remotely.
