About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain insight into the public accounting profession. You will work with multiple supervisors across a variety of client engagements. Throughout the term, you will shadow tax professionals at different levels and participate in team building and training initiatives. You will also complete a marketing or research project and attend social functions like lunches and community service events.
What you'll do#
- Apply your accounting knowledge to client work using firm technology.
- Collaborate with tax professionals on daily tasks.
- Assist with various client engagements under the direction of multiple supervisors.
- Participate in firm-sponsored training and professional development sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior or senior in an accredited accounting or related program.
- Two years remaining until graduation.
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above is preferred.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
