About the role#
This internship provides a look into the public accounting profession. You will work with multiple supervisors on various client engagements while building a foundation for your career. The role is based in Tampa, Florida.
What you'll do#
- Apply your accounting knowledge to client work using firm technology.
- Shadow tax professionals across all levels of the organization.
- Participate in team building and training initiatives.
- Complete a marketing or research project and present your findings.
- Attend firm social functions, including lunches and community service projects.
What you'll need#
- You are a junior or senior enrolled in an accredited accounting or business administration program.
- You have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, which is preferred.
- You are proficient with computers and spreadsheet software.
- You can travel to client sites as needed, including same-day travel.
- Previous experience or knowledge of public accounting is preferred.
