About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Raleigh, North Carolina. You will work on-site with our State and Local Tax team to help clients manage sales tax obligations, avoid overpayment risks, and assist with strategic planning.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with tax professionals on a variety of client projects.
- Research state tax statutes, regulations, and rulings.
- Gather, manipulate, and analyze tax data.
- Manage correspondence with state tax agencies.
- Interact with clients through on-site meetings, video calls, and status reports.
- Perform administrative tasks including data entry, organizing files, and completing forms.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor degree, preferably in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation.
- Proficiency with Word and PowerPoint.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Stellar interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and handle overtime during peak seasons.
- Access experience is a plus.

- Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour.
