About the role#
This internship provides an inside look at the public accounting profession. You will work with multiple supervisors on various client engagements and shadow Audit professionals across different levels of the firm. The role includes participating in team building, training initiatives, and a marketing or research project. You will also attend social functions such as lunches and community service outings.
What you'll do#
- Apply your accounting knowledge to client work using firm technology.
- Collaborate with audit teams on different engagements.
- Participate in professional development and training sessions.
- Present on assigned research or marketing projects.
What you'll need#
- Status as a junior or senior in an accredited accounting, finance, or business administration program, with graduation expected within two years.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above is preferred but not required.
