About the role#
As an Agronomy Operations Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the farming industry. You will work alongside professionals to learn core agronomy skills and support daily operations. This is a paid, full-time internship opportunity for Winter and Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Learn general agronomy skills including crop scouting, product application, and delivery procedures.
- Handle daily agronomy and seed operations.
- Monitor inventory quality and manage record keeping.
- Perform housecleaning tasks to maintain a clean facility.
- Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for equipment like sprayers, trucks, conveyors, and towers.
- Provide customer service and support to our clients.
- Ensure all work complies with state, local, and company safety policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Agriculture experience or background knowledge is helpful.
- Previous internship experience is helpful but not required.

- This role is on-site in Freeman, South Dakota, or Winner, South Dakota.
- The internship term covers Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
