About the role#
As a Global Investment Banking Analyst, you will assist our team in providing customized financing and advisory solutions to clients. This role offers exposure to a range of financial services including equity and debt underwriting, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic advisory projects. You will work alongside professionals ranging from Analysts to Managing Directors, gaining hands-on experience through a team-based approach to executing transactions.
What you'll do#
- Provide analytical, research, and presentation support to the team.
- Assist with mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and debt or equity financings.
- Work on strategic advisory projects and full capital structure solutions.
- Collaborate with various groups across the firm to execute coverage and financing assignments.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate degree in Commerce, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Expected completion of your undergraduate program no sooner than August 2027.
- A demonstrated interest in Capital Markets and a career in the financial services industry.
- Strong analytical, technical, and computational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A highly motivated, accomplished, and goal-oriented approach to your work.
Location & details#
- Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 2027 to April 2027).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site.
- Compensation: This is a paid position with an annualized base salary of $105,000.
