About the role#
As a Summer Intern in Internal Audit, you will support the Risk Management Audit team. This team provides independent assurance across key risk areas to strengthen governance and controls. You will work alongside experienced professionals to build a foundation in risk management practices. You will gain exposure to portfolios including data reporting, capital stress testing, and strategic risk.
What you'll do#
- Assist with Risk Management Audit testing and prepare documentation.
- Organize, review, and interpret data to support audit findings and project work.
- Participate in data analytics and process automation initiatives to improve reporting quality.
- Support project tracking and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Maintain clear and accurate audit records.
What you'll need#
- Currently working toward a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.3.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in New York, New York, or Chicago, Illinois.
- Compensation is $25.00 per hour.
