About the role#
The Commercial Summer Internship Program provides exposure to commercial banking through project-based assignments, networking, and mentorship. You will be assigned to one of three specific areas in New York: Mid Corp PM (Healthcare), Middle Market PM, or Treasury and Wholesale Payments. The program lasts 10 weeks, beginning June 1, 2027. High-performing interns may receive early consideration for full-time roles.
What you'll do#
- Support loan underwriting, portfolio monitoring, and business development for commercial banking clients.
- Conduct financial and credit analysis while preparing financial models and credit approval materials.
- Monitor client reporting and ensure covenant compliance.
- Perform industry and market research to support team discussions and client meetings.
- Prepare client presentations and transaction documentation.
- Collaborate with leaders on high-visibility projects within Treasury Solutions.
- Present your recommendations and insights to senior executives.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program with a graduation date between Winter 2027 and Spring 2028.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2, with a 3.5 preferred. Please list your cumulative GPA on your resume.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Relevant coursework or experience in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- You must be a U.S. resident with permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- You must complete a video interview assessment within 4 days of receiving the link to remain under consideration.
