About the role#
This 10-week summer internship program supports data and analytics initiatives across the bank. Interns split their time between two primary functions. Half of the time is spent partnered with a host team on ongoing work such as reporting, dashboarding, data visualization, automation, and root-cause analysis. The other half involves working on a cross-functional team to complete a real-world project that spans the full project cycle. This role is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Partner with mentors to define project objectives, identify available data, and gather requirements.
- Assemble, manage, and investigate data within internal repositories.
- Quantify information, sort data for analysis, and highlight emerging trends.
- Interpret business data to support strategic decision-making.
- Communicate findings to cross-functional teams and business leaders.
- Incorporate feedback from partners to refine your approach.
- Present your final contributions to colleagues and leadership as a capstone exercise.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a graduate program (Master’s or PhD) in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Expected graduation between December 2027 and Spring 2028 for Master’s students, or concurrent enrollment in a PhD program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Experience with structured and unstructured datasets, including cleaning, transformation, and exploration.
- Ability to complete a video interview assessment within 4 days of receiving the link.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with or interest in tools such as Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, Amazon S3, and Alteryx.
- Permanent work authorization in the United States is required. This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
