About the role#
Clark Dietz is hiring a Civil Construction Engineer Intern for the summer of 2027. You will work on a team in the field to support municipal infrastructure and roadway projects. This is a full-time, paid position based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
What you'll do#
- Assist with site surveying tasks.
- Inspect and document construction activities.
- Perform basic calculations to compute quantities.
- Verify measurements and organize project data.
- Participate in group activities to learn about engineering career paths.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency with MS Office, specifically Excel and Word.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and documents.
- A valid driver’s license and your own vehicle for commuting to project sites.
- Experience with CAD software is preferred but not required.

- Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Compensation: $20 to $26 per hour, depending on experience and academic year.
