    About the role#

    As a Process Engineering Intern at our rolling mill, you will gain hands-on experience in the steel manufacturing industry. You will work directly with our team to support operations, troubleshoot technical issues, and drive process improvements. This is a full-time, paid position for the summer of 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Learn hands-on skills related to industrial and engineering technologies through cross-training.
    • Identify, evaluate, and recommend projects focused on cost savings, quality, and safety.
    • Collaborate with the CMC team on process improvement initiatives.
    • Troubleshoot technical problems using your job knowledge and communication with others.
    • Participate in company safety programs and uphold our safety culture.
    • Deliver a final report or presentation on an improvement project at the end of your internship.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Industrial, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering (Junior or Senior standing preferred).
    • Strong interest in industrial engineering technologies.
    • Knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
    • Previous internship experience is preferred.
    • Ability to work in an environment with extreme temperatures, noise, dust, and uneven surfaces.
    • Physical ability to push and pull up to 90 lbs and carry 50 lbs.
