About the role#
As a Hay & Forage Engineering Intern, you will work on the design of equipment such as round balers, disc mower conditioners, and self-propelled windrowers. You will support lead engineers with new product development and help resolve issues with current products. This role involves hands-on collaboration with manufacturing teams, prototype shops, and validation groups to ensure our equipment meets performance and durability standards.
What you'll do#
- Develop new designs for various hay equipment projects.
- Investigate root causes and create design solutions for existing product issues.
- Release parts into the prototype shop and CNH systems.
- Work with assembly teams to check part fitup accuracy.
- Partner with the validation team to test the functional and durability performance of designs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering degree program.
- Status as a rising Junior or Senior.
- Prior experience with design projects.
- An understanding of Dairy and Beef customers is preferred.
- Previous internship experience in a similar role is preferred.

- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.

- Compensation: $26.78 - $28.84 per hour.
