About the role#
As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern at the Racine facility, you will join the Manufacturing Operations team to support engineering processes and production lines. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will gain hands-on experience by working directly with production teams to optimize operations and apply engineering principles to real-world manufacturing challenges.
What you'll do#
- Support daily engineering processes and production line operations.
- Use root cause analysis to identify and implement solutions to production challenges.
- Contribute to process improvement projects focused on quality, productivity, and efficiency.
- Assist with data analysis and reporting to help guide manufacturing operations decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and deadlines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Intermediate Excel skills and basic data analysis experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in agriculture, construction, or landscaping is preferred, though not required.

- Compensation is $23.69 - $27.81 per hour.
