About the role#
Communicare Official is hiring an intern to provide behavioral health care counseling and consultation services. You will work under the supervision of the Clinic Manager and Site Supervisor to support our consumers.
What you'll do#
- Provide therapy services including individual, family, and group sessions.
- Complete accurate and timely charting and documentation.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to discuss client care.
- Attend mandatory in-services and training programs.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, or a related mental health field.
- Current enrollment in a university-sponsored academic internship or practicum program in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliability and the ability to interact effectively with the public and staff.
- Adaptability to handle frequent changes or unexpected events.
- Visual acuity for filing and documentation, plus the ability to perform light physical tasks like walking, standing, and sitting.

- This is a paid, full-time internship with rolling start dates.
