About the role#
This Manufacturing Engineer Intern position supports our engineering department on various projects. You will work from the initial scope definition through to the final implementation. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based on-site in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support for internal customers and part manufacturability.
- Assist with the implementation of process and design improvements.
- Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.
- Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work.
- Partner with other business segments including sales, marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a four-year degree program for Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring devices.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
- Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
