About the role#
Daikin Comfort offers an 11-week summer internship program. You will work on an individual project with your team and collaborate with other interns on a group project. The role involves assisting with projects that promote environmental efficiency, such as industry analysis and energy use monitoring at the Daikin Texas Technology Park.
What you'll do#
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including automating manual tasks and redesigning infrastructure for scalability.
- Build infrastructure for the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources using SQL and AWS big data technologies.
- Collaborate with Executive, Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing teams to address data-related technical issues.
- Develop methods to improve data quality, reliability, and efficiency.
- Participate in networking, social events, and team building activities.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Statistics.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Must not require employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.
