About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based at the Daikin Texas Technology Park. You will work within the finance and accounting functions to support budgeting, forecasting, and operational performance analysis. The program runs for 11 weeks and includes individual and group projects, networking opportunities, and team-building activities.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning team with forecasting across various business segments.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and reduce costs through business re-engineering.
- Perform ad hoc business analysis and provide recommendations to streamline operations.
- Review multi-year profit and loss statements and analyze macro-economic conditions to support leadership decisions.
- Organize financial data into reports and visual models for management presentations.
- Create and maintain reports using Excel and Anaplan.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
- A graduation date between December 2026 and May 2028.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
- Strong communication skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and an interest in problem solving.
