About the role#
Daikin Comfort offers an 11-week summer internship program based in Waller, Texas. You will work on an individual project with your direct team and collaborate with other interns on a group project. The role focuses on analyzing supply chain, transportation, and distribution networks to reduce freight costs and improve delivery performance. You will manage deployment planning across multiple regions and divisions.
What you'll do#
- Extract data and generate reports to assist in performance tracking and decision-making.
- Review manufacturing and logistics processes to develop distribution and stocking plans for designated customers.
- Conduct research to support customer requests and data needs.
- Support and enact solutions across customer service, inventory planning, warehouse operations, and product procurement.
- Maintain system data sets for products, customers, and processes to support ERP and Deployment Systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and follow established company policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering.
- Graduation dates between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
