About the role#
We are looking for a Transportation Engineering Intern to join our team in Owings Mills for the Summer 2027 term. You will work alongside our professionals on a variety of transportation projects. This is a full-time, paid position that provides hands-on experience and the chance to apply your classroom knowledge to real-world engineering challenges.
What you'll do#
- Design horizontal and vertical alignments.
- Create plans for drainage systems and stormwater management.
- Develop erosion and sediment control designs.
- Prepare maintenance and protection of traffic schemes.
- Draft contract plans for our clients.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Transportation.
- You have experience using CADD software, specifically MicroStation or AutoCAD.
- You are proficient in MS Office.
- Previous internship experience in transportation is preferred.

- This role is based on-site in Owings Mills, Maryland.
- This is a full-time internship for Summer 2027.
