About the role#
This position supports the CS-231 course led by Ben Ellinger. You will assist the instructor in the classroom, help with lab sessions, and provide guidance to students. This is a paid, part-time student position for the Fall 2026 term. You must be available for lab sessions on Thursdays from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
What you'll do#
- Support students during lab sessions.
- Grade student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Hold office hours to answer student questions outside of class.
- Maintain contact with assigned student teams.
- Help with equipment setup and presentation feedback.
- Track and report your work hours.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current, matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
- Maintain good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Have completed and passed GAM-250.
- Strong technical skills and comfort solving technical problems.
- Ability to work independently and act as a mentor to peers.
- Reliability and punctuality.
Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, Washington.
- Term: August 31 to December 15, 2026.
- Hours: 3 to 5 hours per week.
- Work modality: On-site only. You must reside within the State of Washington to perform this work.
- Note: You may not work during any time you are scheduled for a class.
