About the role#
DigiPen Institute of Technology is hiring a Student Teaching Assistant for the DES-100-B Lab 2 course during the Fall 2026 term. This position supports the instructor and helps students succeed in their coursework. You will work 5-10 hours per week in an on-site capacity in Redmond, Washington.
What you'll do#
- Grade student assignments and upload results to Moodle.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve.
- Assist students in person during lab sessions.
- Maintain consistency and clarity in all grading tasks.
- Meet weekly with the instructor for performance feedback.
- Help with classroom setup or equipment operation as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a matriculated student at DigiPen.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and successful completion of DES-100 with a B or better.
- Proven proficiency with Unity and visual scripting.
- Ability to attend at least one lab section in its entirety.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to help others learn.
- Comfort interacting with peers in a mentorship role.
- Punctuality and the ability to stay focused during work hours.

- Location: Redmond, Washington.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, based on your number of terms worked at DigiPen.
- Requirements: Applicants must reside in Washington and cannot work during scheduled class times.
