About the role#
DigiPen Institute of Technology is hiring a Student TA for the FLM-225 Intro to Storyboarding course for the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, part-time position reporting to Pamela Mathues. You will support students by answering questions, providing feedback, and assisting with course materials.
What you'll do#
- Advise students on storyboarding topics and assignments.
- Answer questions during class labs and assist with Storyboard Pro issues.
- Manage the chat during online lectures.
- Provide critique and feedback through Teams channels.
- Offer encouragement based on your personal experience with the course.
- Track and report your hours worked.
What you'll need#
- You must be a currently matriculated student at DigiPen with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- You have successfully completed FLM-225 or ART-350 with a grade of B or better.
- You are comfortable with the story pipeline and have experience with Storyboard Pro or similar software.
- You can provide professional critique and communicate clearly.
- You are reliable, punctual, and interested in helping your fellow students succeed.
- You are able to work independently.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Redmond, Washington, and requires on-site work. You must reside within the state of Washington.
- The role requires approximately 7 hours per week.
- You are expected to attend most class sessions, which take place Wednesdays from 5:00 to 7:50 p.m.
- You may not work during any time when you have a scheduled class.
- Employment dates run from July 31, 2026, through April 23, 2027.
- The pay range is $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, based on your previous terms worked at DigiPen.
