About the role#
We are looking for a User Experience Intern to assist our team in improving digital tools and onboarding experiences for our members. You will work on projects involving journey mapping, interface design, and information architecture audits. This role is a temporary, paid position lasting approximately 10 to 12 weeks.
What you'll do#
- Shadow and support UX research activities, including usability testing, stakeholder interviews, and heuristic evaluations.
- Assist with design creation and interface refinements in Figma, such as wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Organize and update journey maps and other design artifacts in Miro.
- Analyze system navigation and structure to recommend improvements to information architecture.
- Prepare documentation and presentations to share findings with the UX and development teams.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Anthropology, or a related field.
- Experience with design and collaboration tools like Figma or Miro, gained through coursework or projects.
- Familiarity with UX research methods and usability principles.
- Strong analytical and visual communication skills.

- This position is located on-site in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- Students may be able to use this opportunity toward university or college credit.
