About the role#
We offer internship opportunities across three service areas: Corporate Audit, Domestic Tax, and International Tax. These roles provide hands-on experience similar to that of a first-year associate. You will work closely with shareholders, managers, and other professionals to gain insight into public accounting. Interns participate in a two-week training program at the start of the term.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engagement teams to complete audits, reviews, and compilations.
- Gain exposure to client engagements across industries like manufacturing, construction, retail, and hospitality.
- Travel to client sites to perform audit procedures.
- Compile and analyze financial information while testing and documenting business transactions.
- Prepare and review financial statements.
- Assist with the preparation of corporate and individual tax returns, including partnerships and C-Corp or S-Corp filings.
- Conduct tax research and work on tax projections.
- Assist with foreign disclosures and tax returns for cross-border employees.
- Coordinate with international tax team members on various projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor or master degree in Accounting.
- A cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Completion of at least one intermediate accounting course by winter 2026 is preferred.
- Ability to work 40 plus hours per week from January through mid-April is preferred.
- Strong drive to pursue a career in public accounting.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proven time management abilities.
- High degree of curiosity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn.
- Prior work experience is preferred.
