About the role#
As a Quantitative Trading Analyst Intern, you will work within trading and technology environments to learn what it takes to succeed as a trader. You will join a small team to combine technology, research, and risk management to identify investment strategies. At the end of the 10-week program, you will present your results to senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate directly with senior traders and technologists on the trading desk.
- Develop and improve trading strategies.
- Identify and research market research projects, ranging from macroeconomic data analysis to machine learning applications.
- Calculate risk and analyze theoretical values.
- Participate in an options course and a technology immersion course.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in mathematics, economics, physics, statistics, computer science, or an engineering field with an expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Advanced quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Strong communication skills to explain ideas clearly.
- Self-motivation and an interest in taking on challenges.
