About the role#
As an AI/ML Research Intern at DRW, you will join a team of researchers, traders, and technologists. You will work on projects that directly impact our business, ranging from time series forecasting to developing large language models. You will receive mentorship and participate in an options course to understand how your technical solutions function within the trading industry.
What you'll do#
- Design and implement large scale deep learning models for computer vision, reinforcement learning, or graph neural networks.
- Improve existing data and data pipelines.
- Perform time series forecasting.
- Apply deep learning methods to telemetry data, including sensor data and metrics from intelligent devices.
- Collaborate with other researchers to solve machine learning problems.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Expertise in deep learning, machine learning, and statistics.
- Demonstrated experience training large models.
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning tools such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, Keras, or scikit-learn.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
