    About the role#

    As a Project Controls Intern, you will support the planning, execution, and monitoring of capital projects. You will work alongside experienced professionals to help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This role involves gaining hands-on experience with large-scale energy infrastructure projects.

    What you'll do#

    • Monitor project costs and schedules.
    • Support project communications and reporting.
    • Assist with risk identification and mitigation activities.
    • Analyze project performance metrics.
    • Develop reports and dashboards to support project decision-making.
    • Review schedule and cost management data for quality and accuracy.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a four-year degree program for Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering, Accounting, or Business Administration.
    • Graduation date no earlier than August 2027.
    • Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
    • Ability to work full-time for the duration of the 10 to 12 week summer session.
    • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

    Location & details#

    • This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
    • Work modality is hybrid. You must live within a reasonable commute to your designated facility.
    • Locations include Charlotte, NC, Roxboro, NC, and Lake Mary, FL.
    • Reliable transportation is required for travel to project locations.
