About the role#
The Early Childhood & Elementary Education Department is looking for a student worker to help with daily administrative and operational tasks. This role provides professional experience within a university setting.
What you'll do#
- Assist with general office duties.
- Support departmental events and activities, including preparation, setup, and communication.
- Greet students, faculty, and visitors.
- Handle phone calls and manage correspondence.
- Organize office supplies and resources.
- Complete other tasks as needed to support department operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at East Stroudsburg University.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- English literacy skills.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Previous office experience is helpful but not required.
Location & details#
- Location: East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Flexible hours, typically 10 to 15 hours per week.
- Compensation: $10.00 per hour.
- Employment is contingent upon passing a background check, which includes FBI fingerprinting, PA Child Abuse clearance, and verification of employment or degrees.
