About the role#
The Special Education & Rehabilitation department is hiring Student Workers to assist with daily office operations. This role supports faculty and staff while providing a welcoming environment for students and campus visitors. You will work up to 20 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Greet students, visitors, and professionals arriving at the office.
- Answer incoming phone calls and take messages.
- Handle and deliver daily mail.
- Make copies for professors and assist with special events.
- Use software like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to complete tasks.
- Report to work on time and respond to communications quickly.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student at East Stroudsburg University.
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work well with a diverse group of staff and students.
- A professional, organized, and dependable approach.
- High integrity and a positive attitude.

- Location: East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $10.00 per hour.
- Employment is contingent upon passing a background check, including FBI fingerprinting and PA Child Abuse verification.
