About the role#
As a Carrier Sales Intern, you will join the sourcing side of our brokerage team. You will work alongside a mentor to build carrier relationships and provide logistics solutions for our customers. This 10-week summer program offers hands-on experience in the transportation industry and the potential for full-time employment.
What you'll do#
- Identify and source new prospective clients to grow a book of business.
- Manage a high volume of outbound phone calls to sell transportation solutions and negotiate rates.
- Use Salesforce and our proprietary software to handle client prospecting, invoicing, and shipment tracking.
- Onboard new and existing carriers onto the EchoDrive platform.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support company growth.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at a university as a rising senior.
- At least one semester of school remaining after the internship concludes.
- Ability to start on May 24, 2027, and complete the full 10-week program.
- Strong skills in communication, problem solving, time management, and project management.
- Preferred majors include Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Logistics.
