About the role#
Emerson is looking for a Product Engineering Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. You will work at our Round Rock, Texas location on projects that improve how we handle software troubleshooting and diagnostics. This role is for someone who enjoys problem solving and wants to build tools that make technical tasks more efficient.
What you'll do#
- Write software applications, utilities, and diagnostic tools.
- Streamline complex software investigations.
- Find new ways to complete tasks that improve the user experience.
- Apply technology to solve business problems and track the results.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, entering your Junior or Senior year.
- Pursuit of a degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Experience with the Process Automation industry or previous internship experience is helpful but not required.
