About the role#
Entegris is looking for an Environmental Health & Safety Co-Op for the Winter 2027 season. This is a full-time, 6-month assignment based at our manufacturing site in Chaska, Minnesota. You will support site safety programs, assist with regulatory compliance, and work with teams across the organization to maintain a safe workplace.
What you'll do#
- Support and strengthen site Environmental, Health & Safety programs.
- Assist with regulatory inspections and audits.
- Participate in incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Support the development and communication of safety policies and initiatives.
- Assist with new hire orientation and safety training sessions.
- Manage data and maintain accurate records for compliance activities.
- Contribute ideas for continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program for Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of safety principles gained through coursework, projects, or work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with your university requirements for co-op participation.
Location & details#
- Location: Chaska, MN.
- Modality: 100% on-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
- Duration: January 2027 through June 2027.
- Physical requirements: Must be able to lift 30lbs and work in environments that may be loud or near chemicals, with provided protection.
